Is it possible to be a doctor if I go for biomedical in poly?

once you are in poly, despite your wonderful O levels results

you can never be a politician
you can never be a scholar
you can never be a doctor/ read medicine locally

biomedical sciences do not mean you get to practice medicine

I think last year SP only one student got into NUS medicine, and he has like near-perfect GPA with lee kuan yew's award and etc......

It is possible, but very hard, almost impossible.

I am currently 3rd yr that course in SP.

Actually, if I were you, I'll choose the A Level route... you'll have better chances (although the chances are low).

RP/SP/NP Dip. in Biomedical Science ---> Monash Bac. in Biomedical Science --> MBBS from Imperial or UK or Aust.

So far... only one girl that I know off actually skip the Monash because she did extrememly well enough to go Imperial College School of Medicine. She was poly student. The last time I heard is that she's doing her phd. Probably gotta call her Dr. already.

[These few years only less than a handful from SP/NP Biomed went on to NUS Med. I keep a news paper poster, it's still in my room, if you look in this forum, you still can find the picture ]
